Single-task licence
You acquire a single-task licence. The owner retains all rights. Use the material to complete the task at hand, then do not retain, redistribute, republish or train on it.
What that means
- Single task: the licence covers the task the material was obtained for, and ends when that task completes.
- Nothing transfers: the material remains the property of the node owner. You are not buying it.
- No retention: do not keep a copy once the task is complete.
- No redistribution or republication: do not pass the material on, publish it, or make it available to anyone else.
- No derivatives beyond the task: outputs that serve the task are fine; a new work built on the material for other purposes is not.
- No training: do not use the material to train, fine-tune or evaluate a model.
- Attribution: name the node, and the item title where there is one, in anything that uses the material.
- A new task needs a new licence.
